Home inspection, home inspector
Inspect the inspector!Hello! Thank you for your interest in learning more about me. My name is George Grady Tucker IV. I go by Skip. I have over 20 years of experience running my own full service construction company. I have been involved in every aspect of building a home. From digging the footers to installing the shingles, finishing the sheetrock to helping a customer pick out that one of a kind color for the master bath. I know what is involved in building a home so I know how to thoroughly inspect a home. I attend educational classes to stay informed of new construction techniques and products so I can inspect your home properly.

I will take the time to thoroughly inspect everything in the home that I can. I will be at the residence for around 4 hours. Larger or older homes may take more time. I do not offer onsite reports. After leaving the home I will write a report explaining the defects I found and incorporate pictures supporting the deficiencies in the home. I want to supply you with as much information as possible so you can make an informed decision.
There are some limitations to a home inspection. Any systems that are enclosed in walls, floors or ceilings cannot be visually inspected. If I cannot gain access to an item, I cannot inspect it. A home inspection is a visual examination of readily visible and readily accessible installed systems and components.
Every home inspector in North Carolina must be licensed and insured. I carry General Liability and Errors and Omissions insurance. All inspections must follow the standards of practice and code of ethics set by the NC Home Inspector Licensing Board.
I use IRB Pro inspection software for your inspection report. The report is easy to read and contains multiple pictures of the property. Click here to see a sample report. Click here to see my contract.
